VCK Logistics leases a 25,000 m² high-tech distribution center with Borghese Logistics and LOGISTIS(AEW) at Green Mountains Logistics Park Schiphol

VCK Logistics (vcklogistics.com) has concluded a long-term lease with developer Borghese Logistics and LOGISTIS a fund managed by AEW, for phase 4 of the Green Mountains development at Schiphol-Rijk. The object of approx. 22,500 m² of warehouse space + approx. 2,500 m² of office space is located directly on the Aalsmeerbaan and will be delivered at the end of 2020.

The total development of the park comprises approximately 100,000 m² of warehouse with associated offices, car and truck parking spaces and is spread over 4 buildings. The first phase of the park was delivered at the end of 2017 and is leased to XPO Logistics and Rapid. The second phase of around 25,000 m2 will be delivered at the end of June 2019 and will be available from around 5,000 m2.

There are several parties around Schiphol who currently want to move from their outdated logistics buildings to new buildings such as Green Mountains Logistics Parc, because they meet the latest developments in the field of sustainability, efficiency, quality and appearance. Because of these characteristics, the buildings are for users – in addition to a more comfortable workplace with lower energy costs – also important as a marketing tool to attract new customers.

Borghese Logistics is a developer of high-quality logistics real estate. From concept to realization we realize the most modern distribution centers with our close team, with extensive experience in special facilities such as conditioned storage or extra security. With our projects, the focus is always on the specific wishes of the end user, with special attention to sustainability. We use our experience of more than 100 years and our genuine fascination for buildings that stand the test of time.

The transaction was established through the mediation of INDUSTRIAL real estate partners. Together with Cushman & Wakefield, they form the real estate team of Green Mountains. Borghese Logistics and LOGISTIS were further advised by Loyens & Loeff and VCK Logistics by Stibbe with regard to the conclusion of the lease.
