In Nieuw-Reijerwaard, Ridderkerk, Borghese Logistics is developing a high-quality logistics fresh center of 55,600 m² UFA for Necron Group. This cutting-edge facility will become the new location for Bakker Barendrecht, part of Greenyard. The building will feature a warehouse of 35,500 m², approximately 4.200 m² of office space, and over 12.000 m² of mezzanine. The site will also include 625 parking spaces for cars, 60 truck parking spaces, and 54 loading docks. Sustainability is a key focus of the development. The fresh center will be built to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standards and equipped with 3 megawatts of solar panels. The design is by Bessels Architecten & Ingenieurs, and construction is being carried out by Pleijsier Bouw. Thanks to its strategic location in Dutch Fresh Port Ridderkerk, the facility will benefit from excellent accessibility. Completion is scheduled for mid-2026.
